Fun Stories About RiNo and its Street Art

Insider’s Guide to Denver Dining

On this three-hour walking food tour, taste some of the best dishes the RiNo Arts District has to offer while exploring a cool, industrial neighborhood.

RiNo, short for River North, was named one of the Top 10 Neighborhoods to Visit in the U.S. by Lonely Planet. This up-and-coming neighborhood is known for its world-class dining, award-winning craft breweries and colorful street art.

You’ll meet your guide at Los Chingones, a street taco fusion spot owned by a prominent local chef. Over the next three hours, you’ll visit five award-winning, local restaurants to taste delicious dishes with the option to add alcoholic drink pairings.

In between tour stops, you’ll hear interesting stories about Denver’s growing culinary scene as well as the colorful murals that cover the streets and alleys of the RiNo Arts District.

Where does this tour meet?

The tour meets at Los Chingones RiNo: 2463 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80205.

It’s right in the heart of Denver’s vibrant RiNo neighborhood — you’ll recognize it by its colorful murals and lively patio.

Your guide will be waiting inside the restaurant, wearing an orange Delicious Denver Food Tours button, so they’re easy to spot. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to check in, get settled, and soak up the neighborhood’s creative energy before we start tasting our way through it!

Where should I park?

Free street parking is often available near the meeting point, but this neighborhood can get busy — especially on weekends and evenings. We recommend arriving a little early to give yourself time to find a spot and make your way to the start location.

There’s also a paid parking lot at the Denver Central Market, just one block away, which is a convenient option if street parking is full. Rideshare or public transit are great alternatives, too — the RiNo area is easily accessible and walkable once you’re here.

Is there transportation provided on this tour?

All of our tours are guided walking experiences, designed to let you see and taste the city up close. Guests meet at the designated starting point and walk between restaurants with short, easy strolls in between.

Your local guide leads the way, sharing fun stories, pointing out landmarks, and making sure everyone keeps a comfortable pace. No buses or shuttles needed — just good company, great food, and Denver’s lively streets as the backdrop.

How much food is served?

Each tour includes five generous tastings at award-winning, locally owned restaurants. By the end, most guests tell us they’re stuffed, so not just small bites. Come hungry, and you’ll leave happy!

Where does this tour end?

The tour wraps up with dessert at the Denver Central Market, a lively food hall just two blocks from where we started. It’s the perfect place to end — surrounded by local vendors, great coffee, and plenty of spots to linger if you’d like to explore more after the tour.

What areas of town will I visit on this tour?

You’ll explore the River North Arts District, better known as RiNo — one of Denver’s most colorful and creative neighborhoods. This area is famous for its massive street murals, local breweries, converted warehouses, and buzzing food scene. As you walk between tasting stops, your guide will point out some of the district’s best-known artwork and share stories about how this former industrial zone became one of the city’s most vibrant cultural hubs.

How much walking is there on this tour?

This tour covers just under one mile of light, leisurely walking spread out over about three hours. The walks between stops are short, and all tastings take place indoors. Most stops are seated, though one may be a stand-up tasting. We keep the pace relaxed so guests can enjoy the food, conversation, and sights without feeling rushed.

What dietary restrictions are accommodated on this tour?

We can accommodate the following dietary restrictions on our public food and drink tours:

  • Vegetarian

  • Pescatarian

  • No beef

  • No pork

  • No poultry

  • No seafood

  • No nuts

While we do our best to accommodate everyone, gluten-free and dairy-free diets can only be fully accommodated on private tours, since tastings on public tours are pre-set and ordered in advance.

Please list any allergies or dietary needs when booking your tickets so we can make the proper arrangements with our restaurant partners. Because dishes are prepared ahead of time, we’re unable to make last-minute substitutions on the day of the tour.
