Ditch the boring dinner party or networking hour and join us on a Market and Food Hall tour in the heart of downtown Denver.

This two-hour roving food and drinks experience is perfect for large groups wanting to explore the Denver food scene while mixing and mingling. Moving from stop to stop and tasting new dishes along the way provides a unique experience sure to spark conversation and team bonding.

You’ll enjoy tastings at two of Denver’s most popular markets and food halls, two cocktail pairings and dessert. Tastings include Taiwanese Pork Belly Buns, Neapolitan Fired Pizza, Argentinian Empanadas, and Hand-made Pappardelle Bolognese.* Cocktails include a gin-based Prohibition era cocktail with a house-made lavender syrup and a Cranberry Basil Moscow Mule.

Local foodie guides accompany groups to provide information about the delicious tastings and chefs behind them. Groups visit Mile Post Zero and McGregor Square, and the Denver Milk Market on the Dairy Block and end with dessert inside the iconic and historic Union Station.

Our guides have a schedule but no script. You choose the level of information for your group: from basic tasting and location introductions (to maximize team bonding time) all the way to a full tour experience with tasting, food and city history.

What kind of group is this tour best suited for?

This large-format tour works beautifully for groups that want to relax, mingle, and enjoy great food together. Think of it as a roving cocktail party — upbeat, social, and designed to help people mix and connect naturally.

It’s a little lighter on history than our other tours, which makes it perfect for celebrations, networking events, conference groups, or any gathering where the focus is on having fun and spending time together. If your group likes good food, good drinks, and an easygoing vibe, this tour is a great fit.

What areas of town will we visit on this tour?

You’ll explore some of the most exciting parts of downtown Denver, including Lower Downtown (LoDo), the beautifully restored Union Station, and two of the city’s most popular food halls. Along the way, you’ll also get to experience the lively Dairy Block and McGregor Square, both known for great restaurants, local shops, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

It’s an easy, walkable route that highlights Denver’s best gathering places — perfect for groups who want to enjoy great food while taking in the city’s energy and personality.

How much walking is there on this tour?

This tour is very easy on the feet — you’ll walk less than a quarter mile over the two and 1/2 hours. The route is short, flat, and designed so guests of all ages and abilities can enjoy it comfortably. All tastings are sit/standing indoors, so once you arrive at each stop, you can relax, settle in, and enjoy the food without any long walks in between.

How much food is served?

This tour includes four generous tastings, two paired cocktails, and a dessert — all enjoyed inside two of Denver’s most vibrant food halls. It’s designed to feel like a full, satisfying lunch or dinner, not just small samples. You can preview the experience by checking out the tasting photos above and visiting the vendor links below.

Where does this tour meet?

This tour meets outside The Maven Hotel, located at 1850 Wazee St, Denver, CO 80202. It’s an easy spot to find and very group-friendly — the hotel has a spacious valet area that works well for bus or rideshare drop-off. Your guide will be there to welcome everyone and get the tour started smoothly.

Where does this tour end?

The tour wraps up at Union Station, located at 1701 Wynkoop St, Denver, CO 80202. It’s a convenient, central spot with space for easy bus or rideshare pickup, making departures smooth and stress-free for your group.

Where should guests park?

We recommend the Music Garage at 1615 18th Street, Denver, CO, 80202 directly across from the hotel. Valet parking is available at the hotel as well.

Do you provide transportation from hotels or between tasting stops?

The Denver Food Hall Tour is fully walkable and covers only about ¼ mile in total, making it easy and comfortable for most groups.

If your group is staying nearby, guides are usually available to walk with you to or from your hotel (within one mile of the start location) for an additional $75 per leg. This option can make arrival and departure especially smooth for out-of-town guests.

What happens if there is rain, snow or heat on our tour day?

All tastings on this tour are indoors, so we run year-round in rain, snow, or shine. Just dress for the weather, as there are short, easy walks between each stop.

If truly extreme conditions occur — like hail or a major snowstorm — we may cancel for safety and offer you the choice to move to another day or receive a full refund.

Most winter days in Denver are very manageable, and our guests often find that cozy restaurants, warm dishes, and quick walks make this a surprisingly fun and memorable cold-weather activity.
