Where does this tour meet?

Your tour meets inside Marco’s Coal Fired Pizzeria – Ballpark Location at 2129 Larimer St., just steps from Coors Field.

⚠️ Important: Marco’s has more than one location, so be sure you’re headed to the Ballpark location downtown — not the Tech Center.

When you arrive, head inside and look for your guide wearing an orange “Delicious Denver Food Tours” button. They’ll be ready to welcome you!

Where should I park?

There are a number of paid parking lots near the the tour meeting point at Marco’s Coal Fired Pizzeria (Ballpark Location). If you would prefer to park along the route or closer to the last tasting, see other parking options here.

Important: The lot next to Marco’s is only free for restaurant guests while dining. If you park there for the full tour, you risk being towed — and nobody wants to end their food tour that way.

Also note: parking can be more limited and expensive on Rockies home game days, so allow extra time or consider a rideshare if that’s the case.

Is there transportation provided on this tour?

Nope — our tours are all walking tours, and that’s part of the fun.

You’ll meet your guide at the starting location and stroll from stop to stop, tasting your way through the city. Each route covers less than a mile at a relaxed pace, with plenty of breaks.

Why walking? It lets us explore neighborhoods up close — see the street art, meet the chefs, peek down hidden alleys, and soak in the city’s vibe between bites. It’s not just about the food — it’s about the whole Denver experience.

How much food is served?

Plenty! This tour includes five tastings from award-winning, locally-owned restaurants, and together they add up to a satisfying lunch for most guests.

You’ll sample a variety of dishes — think of it as a progressive meal, with each stop adding something new to the story (and your appetite).

Come hungry, but don’t worry — we won’t leave you stuffed and sluggish. Just pleasantly full and very happy.

Where does this tour end?

The tour wraps up with dessert inside Denver’s historic Union Station at 1701 Wynkoop St. — a beautiful and iconic spot to finish.

It’s about a 12-minute walk from the starting point at Marco’s Coal Fired Pizzeria. If you’d prefer a shorter walk after the tour, consider parking midway along the route or closer to Union Station. You’ll still have time to stroll back or hop in a rideshare afterward.

Need help choosing the best parking option? Check below or feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help.

What areas of town will I visit on this tour?

You’ll get a taste of several of Denver’s most iconic districts — both culinary and historic.

We’ll walk through:

  • Lower Downtown (LoDo) — the city’s oldest and most storied neighborhood

  • The Ballpark District, home to Coors Field and a growing food scene

  • Union Station, where we end with dessert in one of Denver’s most beautiful landmarks

Along the way, you’ll see city highlights like Coors Field, McGregor Square, the Dairy Block, Denver’s first brewpub, and more — all while learning about the city’s past, present, and delicious future.

How much walking is there on this tour?

The Downtown Food Tour covers just under 1 mile of walking, spread out over 3 hours. It’s a light and leisurely stroll, with plenty of stops, stories, and time to rest between tastings.

All food is enjoyed seated indoors, so even if the weather’s unpredictable, you’ll be comfortable throughout.
