Ditch the boring company dinner and give your team a chance to break bread while learning about Denver and our amazing chefs and restaurants.

This three-hour, seated dinner experience is perfect for teams and groups looking for the variety and excitement of our tasting experience combined with the intimacy and social interaction of a great dinner party. This tour is guaranteed to provide opportunities for team members to mix and mingle as they walk, dine and drink, sparking conversations in a unique, unforced group setting.

As you visit three award-winning, locally-owned restaurants, you’ll taste authentic Neapolitan pizza certified by Italy’s AVPN served with a house-made limoncello using local spirits, Native American Fry Bread tacos made with Colorado-raised waygu beef served with Westword’s Best House Margarita and Colorado Raised Angus Beef burgers at a multiyear winner of Denver’s best burger served with a Belgian Ale brewed steps away at the only functional brewery in a major league baseball stadium.*

Our guides have a schedule but no script. You choose the level of information for your group: from basic tasting and restaurant introductions (so you can maximize team bonding time) all the way to a full tour experience with food and city history at every stop.

What kind of group is this tour best suited for?

The Dinner Tasting Tour works beautifully for both long-established teams and groups of colleagues who are just getting to know one another. The variety of tastings gives everyone something to talk about, and the multiple seated courses naturally encourage people to mix, mingle, and rotate conversations throughout the evening. It’s a relaxed, social setting that helps groups bond without feeling forced — ideal for team building, client outings, and celebratory dinners alike.

What areas of town will we visit on this tour?

You’ll explore some of Denver’s most iconic downtown neighborhoods: Lower Downtown (LoDo), the Ballpark District, and Union Station. As you walk between stops, your guide will share stories about each area — from LoDo’s historic warehouses and revitalized streets, to the Ballpark neighborhood’s lively energy, to the beautifully restored Union Station, now one of the city’s main gathering places. It’s a great way to experience Denver’s past and present while tasting your way through it.

Are guests riding in a van or bus, or walking?

All of our tours are walking experiences. Guests meet at the designated starting point and walk between restaurants with short, easy strolls in between. There is no van or bus involved — the route is designed to be comfortable, approachable, and a great way to see the neighborhood up close.

How much walking is there on this tour?

This tour includes up to one mile of light, leisurely walking spread out over three hours. The route is flat and broken into short segments between stops, and all tastings are seated indoors so you can relax and enjoy each course in comfort.

How much food is served?

This tour includes six tastings, three paired alcoholic beverages, and dessert at award-winning, locally owned restaurants. It’s designed to be a full, satisfying meal with plenty of variety so there’s truly something for everyone. You can see photos of all current tastings above and explore links to our partner restaurants below to get a feel for what’s included.

What dietary restrictions are accommodated on this tour?

We can accommodate the great majority of dietary needs on this tour, including:

  • Vegetarian

  • Pescatarian

  • No beef

  • No pork

  • No poultry

  • No seafood

  • No nuts

  • Dairy-free

  • Gluten-free

  • Vegan

  • No alcohol

Guests who are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or have other restrictions that require major adjustments to the set menu incur a $15 per guest surcharge, as these substitutions often require separate dishes in place of shared tastings.

If you’re excited to book but worried about dietary needs in your group, don’t stress — we handle these requests every day and work closely with our restaurant partners to ensure everyone enjoys a full, delicious experience. Just include your group’s restrictions when booking, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Where do dinner tours this meet?
Where does this tour meet?

This tour’s starting location varies depending on route but is always within walking distance of Union Station.

Where does the tour end?

Like the starting point, the tour’s ending location varies based on the specific itinerary. No matter the route, the final stop is always within easy walking distance of Union Station.

Where should guests park?

Once your tour is booked, our team will share the exact start and end locations so you can choose the most convenient parking option. Guests are welcome to park near the start, the end, or somewhere in between. We don’t recommend using street parking for this tour, as the three-hour duration typically exceeds Denver’s two-hour meter limits. Nearby garages or paid lots are the best choice for a stress-free experience.

Can our guide walk us from our hotel to the tour start?

Yes! Guides are generally available to accompany groups on foot to or from hotels located within one mile of the tour’s starting point. This service is offered at a rate of $75 per leg and can be arranged in advance to ensure a smooth start or end to your experience.

What happens if it rains or snows on our tour day?

All tastings on this tour are seated indoors, so we run year-round in rain, snow, or shine. Just dress for the weather, as there are short, easy walks between each stop.

If truly extreme conditions occur — like hail or a major snowstorm — we may cancel for safety and offer you the choice to move to another day or receive a full refund.

Most winter days in Denver are very manageable, and our guests often find that cozy restaurants, warm dishes, and quick walks make this a surprisingly fun and memorable cold-weather activity.
